10 things I've learned travelling with my family

Things I've learned on my last family vacation.
1) I love my family. I'm glad it's our LAST vacation together.
2) Sunburns suck. I hate them and they make travelling disasterous.
3) A camper van does NOT hold 4 adult people comfortably
4) Walking in Memphis - there is a reason there is a song. It's fun and worthwhile. I love Memphis during the day and Cincinnati at night.
5) Enjoy concidences. - We got to go to the Kentucky State Fair on the 2nd last day it was on because we saw the sign for it advertised. It was great.
6) There are no living descendants of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House on the Prairie book series.
7) The Keaton's have another baby in Season 3 of Family Ties...after Alex has already graduated from high school.
8) the furthur south you go, the harder it is to sleep at night cause of the heat...it's gonna be a great but sleepless September in India.
9) It's cheaper to buy a book about Graceland for $20 bucks then for one person to go to Graceland.
10) The Mississippi River divides Memphis, Arkansas from Memphis, Tennessee.
That's it for now.

Nadine

Hey There!

Thanks for checking out my blog on my adventures in India. I leave on September 4th out of Calgary. We will be in Hong Kong for a few days then in Bangkok for a couple so I might not have much internet access for awhile. I'm in Manitoba now and head to the grand ole US of A tomorrow for 2 weeks with my family before heading to Calgary. We are going to conquer Lehman's & Amish Land (Kidron, Ohio), Noah's Ark (a waterpark by the Wisconsin Dells) and the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in Missouri among other things...Should be fun! Anyways this is the start of my blog...look back in a month for my first update from the land of rice, gandhi and the taj mahal.

Blessings,
Nadine
